A delicate flower, the Water Hyacinth is harvested from tropical rivers. Originally from Portugal, she found in Myanmar an ideal climate to propagate. Her stem is used in making our furniture because it is tenacious, flexible, and suitable for all kinds of handicraft weaving. Her harvesting contributes to maintain the ecological balance of the rivers.
